Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901. His mom was a German American and his dad was an Irish Canadian.  In 1910, Walter and his family moved to Knasas City were he attented Benton Grammar School. While in Kansas City, Walt met Walter Pfeiffer who introduced him to the world of motion pictures and Walt fell in love. Sadly, Walt migrated to Chicago away from Walter in 1917. There, he was in high shool, and started taking courses at the Chicago Art Institute.
